Course Structure
With extensive experience in preparing students for the PTE, I have developed a course structure that is comprehensive and adaptive to different needs. In addition to typical teaching methods, I supplement it with innovative and engaging modules which make learning fun and easy!
Needs Assessment
In our first meeting, we will spend time drawing out the strengths and weaknesses of your English language skills. This exercise is crucial in understanding the specific needs you may have and helps us personalise the course structure to suit your ability. This short but useful exercise will be the beginning of your Perfect Score story!
Test Format
The key to cracking the PTE is to be aware and become comfortable with the test format. Understanding the test format will significantly increase your chances of unlocking your full potential. We will discuss this in the first meeting and you will leave the class feeling confident of what is to come.
Strategy
Throughout the course, you will learn tried and tested methods to answer the different question types. This will make you more confident and in control in the time-bound test. These methods will particularly help you tackle the difficult Speaking and Writing sections with ease.
Consultation
While the classes will cover everything you will need for the test, I like to catch up with you informally to see how you are going with your preparation. You can use this time to discuss anything that will boost your performance in the test. This is a service I offer at no additional cost and always encourage my students to use it.
